Client Service Advisor

Take inbound customer service phone calls and respond to emails within the Market Service Centre and provide New Zealanders with a variety of advice.

Your new role within the Market Service Centre:
You will have excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to assist New Zealanders with legislative advice. You will be the point of contact for the public and from multiple channels within the organisation.

Day to day you will:
. Respond to customer calls and emails
. Manage a high volume of incoming calls
. Provide accurate information to customers and third parties
. Problem solve to handle the customer query in the first call
. Accurately capture information from all customer interactions
. Investigate and probe queries

Start date: Mid-January 2020 - 27 March 2020
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours between 9am - 5:30pm (flexibility to work anytime is required) or Monday - Friday, 11am - 7pm

. Customer focus and delivering exceptional service, building rapport with all types of people
. You have the ability to relay complex information in a clear, easy to understand way
. You are able to provide information whilst remaining impartial to the situation
. Attitude is everything - you love what you do and you always have a glass half full outlook
. You are a quick learner and are great with computer systems
. Resilient is your middle name - you bounce back quickly and are able to handle a high volume of sometimes stressful and emotionally challenging situations

Required experience:
. Customer service experience in a contact centre is preferred
. Customer service experience in a face to face environment
. You will be speaking to people from all walks of life, so the ability to relate to people is essential
. Two positive references from your two most recent employers
