Customer Service Consultant

Work for a leading insurance provider as the first point of contact for banking customers / bankers helping their customers with insurance products

The client: Madison has partnered with a large and well-known insurance company seeking the best customer service people to work in a team dedicated to supporting customers from a large well-known bank.

The role: In this busy role you will be answering inbound calls from customers and banking partners from all over New Zealand. You will be the go-to person for all inquiries relating to insurance products such as home, care, content and more!

Day to day you will:

  • Providing a comprehensive insurance service to all bank partner customers
  • Assisting with the underwriting process for customers
  • Guiding customers through obtaining a policy quotes for general insurance products
  • Identifying opportunity to initiate needs based, value adding conversations and offer-ing solutions that meet customer needs
  • Having an understanding of the business needs, vision and values
  • Providing a great customer service on all calls

Start date: 30th March 2020

The hours:

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday - Sunday 8.30am - 5pm
  • Flexibility is required to work any time during the opening hours
  • You will be assigned a set roster during the above opening hours before you are finished with training

We are looking for:

  • Proven customer service experience
  • Contact centre experience is preferred, but we are open
  • Exceptional communication & customer service skills - verbal & written
  • You see the glass half full - positive attitude & self-motivated
  • Excellent IT skills - system savvy or learns systems quickly
  • Able to work in a fast-paced volume environment
